Share with view or admin access
Invite a teammate by email. Viewers can follow the status, history, incidents and uptime. Admins can also edit, pause and delete the check. You stay the owner.
Share a check with the people who look after it. Give each person exactly the access they need, hand a check over when someone moves on, and take access back whenever you like.
Monitoring is rarely one person’s job. A backup belongs to the team that runs it, and the person who set it up won’t be on call forever.

Moving on, or passing a job to another team? Transfer the check and choose whether you keep no access, view access or admin access afterwards.
Every share or transfer is a request the other person accepts or declines. Viewers can ask for edit access, and an owner or admin approves it.
Three roles, kept deliberately simple.
| Viewer | Admin | Owner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| See status, history, incidents and uptime | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Get on-screen alerts when it goes late or down | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Edit settings, pause and resume | No | Yes | Yes |
| Approve a viewer’s request to edit | No | Yes | Yes |
| Delete the check | No | Yes | Yes |
| Share it, transfer it and manage who has access | No | No | Yes |
| Choose where its alerts are sent | No | No | Yes |
Anyone you share with needs a free Pingvella account. Shared checks don’t count against their plan, and alert destinations stay with the owner, who decides where alerts go.
Yes. Invite a teammate by email and choose whether they get view access (see the status, history and uptime) or admin access (also edit, pause and delete). You stay the owner and can change or remove anyone’s access at any time. Whoever you invite needs a Pingvella account, and they must accept before anything changes.
Yes. Transfer a check to another person and they become its owner once they accept. You choose whether you keep no access, view access or admin access afterwards. Alert destinations stay with you, so the new owner adds their own.
They can ask for edit access from the check page. The owner and admins are emailed, and any of them can approve the request, which makes that person an admin, or decline it.
